I blew the dust off of my old box of half-written, tear-stained poems from my teenage years and beyond, added some new ones, and put my heart to music. ~Andrea

Speed Bio: I was born. I grew up a geek. I blossomed. I loved, was loved, and my heart was filled and broken – and I wrote about it. I earned a college education, got married, had two beautiful kids, and built a successful career as a creative writer in advertising, marketing, and entertainment while pursuing personal projects.

I’ve been writing lyrics since I was 12, capturing emotions and stories that glossy, masked bios never do. I’ve only recently started to do something with the pile of lyrics I had hidden away through the years and tears. Through many gypsy moves, the box remained one of my few constants, and I added to it as life moved on. Now – finally – I’ve opened the box. The words are coming alive through music. It feels great.
